For those having problems with the owl safe:

The number in the cabin actually starts with a 3, not a 2.

Can't get it to load from your site, had to go to another site to find it to play it. I just get a white box when loading from your site

Mac, OS mavericks,

latest safari, latest chrome browser, flash updated last week. Even tried a windows 7 machine.

loads fine from a different site.. not sure what is going on...

Very cute as always from this series! There was one part that was a little pixel hunt-y, so I got stuck briefly there. I just sort of spam clicked everywhere with various items and found it. Otherwise, I reeeeally enjoyed it!

can't wait for a text walkthrough :)

the part with the

puppet under the floorboards

was pixel hunty for me, but I loved the game anyway

Mmm, even on the PencilKids' site it's not working, not in Firefox too.

Just as another data point, it's working fine for me in Firefox on a Mac.

This isn't a formal walkthrough, but some folks might find it interesting/useful: I made a dependency graph as part of a mini-project to study how designers structure games like these. (Why? Because I'm a big nerd.)

Should be pretty self-explanatory. Rectangles are inventory items, ellipses are clues, diamonds are actions you need to take, and the arrows show what depends on what.
