Oooh got the 10/10! This is my first walkthrough. I love anything by Mateusz Skutnik.

Walking from left to right

Start out in the main screen. Click on woods where a branch on the ground is arched. Click on Gnome #1 under the branch.

Go back to main screen. Click under bench. Click on right underside of bench to find Gnome #2.

Go back to main screen. Click on tree branches just above black bird (it just looks like a black spot from the main screen to the left of the tree). Click on Gnome #3 in branches. Click on bird if you like, i'm not sure but it might result in extra points.

Go back to main screen. Click just left to the car in the distance. Click on the dark tree, just left and infront of a square stone sculpture. Click inbetween the brances to find Gnome #4.

Click back once and click on the square stone sculpture behind the tree where Gnome #4 was. Click at the base of the stone sculpture to find Gnome #5. Extra- click back once and click on the middle of the stone sculpture to see a hand!

Go back to main screen. Click on the tree with the dark bottom just left of the statue. Click into the rotting part twice to find Gnome #6.

Go back to main screen. Click on the head of the statue in front of you 5 times. Move to the left of the screen where you see a metal sculpture intbetween two trees. Click on the top of the sculpture 3 times to get close enough to find Gnome #7.

Click back twice and click on bottom part of sculpture. Click to the left of the bottom part of the sculpture to find Gnome #8.

Go back to the main screen. Click on knotted branches to the right of the statue. Click on the tree hole on the bottom branch to find Gnome #9.

Go back to main screen. Click on the sculpture to the right of the main screen. Move to the left of the screen and click on the base of the statue. Click on the bottom of the statue to find Gnome #10.

what is up with the creepy hand? and the crow?

I think I like this game series! I found 8 gnomes the first time through, this one is definately harder than the first game.

8/10 on the first shot... was it just me, or did anyone else find it tougher to find some of these gnomes? i felt like this episode played out more like a maze, since you clicked on hotspots to take you to other hotspots to help you find other hotspots... to lead you to a dead-end. on one hand, having so many hotspots (and thus, more screens to search) adds to the artistic quality of the game, and you can tell skutnik really went all-out with all sorts of angles and multiple takes on the park. on the other hand, as john already mentioned, the navigation feels a bit awkward, since you're not exactly sure how one photo transitions to the other photo some of the time. and there are so many red herrings in this one that it's even easier to forget where you've already searched or not.

Arrgh!! I missed 1!

I scanned the main screen from left to right:

1. Under the bench.

2. Behind the root of the tree on the left of the main screen.

3. On the tree branches, above the crow bird.

4. From the area just right the tree (see #3), there is one sitting on a branch.

Bonus: before leaving the main screen, click the right most area where you see a tip of a finger behind a tree. :-)

5. Deep under the root.

6. Inside a tree hole. Found from the statue in the middle and click on the rightmost branch.

7 & 8. From the same statue screen, click the statue four times, to get the strange metal statue. There are two gnomes in that metal statue.

9. Behind a square statue. Found from the rightmost tree of the main screen.

That hand scared the hell out of me,lol! D:
I found 6 too.

Exploring a series of black-and-white artistic pictures is an experience made less beautiful by a time limit, as well as looking directly at the cursor, or scanning the screen for anything white and triangular.

If the goal of 10 Gnomes was, "Find 10 gnomes, if you do it in under 10 minutes, you'll get a special congratulatory screen" would be better, as we'd be able to peruse the scenes at our leisure.

deki!
I found number ten!

Go to the BASE of the statue that the hand pops out of. Click the middle gap.

The time limit bothered me at first, but then I realized that for someone who just wants to appreciate the photos and the search without any time pressure, the timer can be ignored. When it runs out, just restart and continue the search. No biggie.
I love this game. :)

Loved the hand! A nice twist. I, too, felt like I was making my way through a maze. Loved the new angles and the 3D feeling. Still have not found Number Ten, despite giving in and using the hints. Will try again - perserverance!

Not nearly as fun as the first one because there are too many levels. Some sublevels connect to other sublevels and it just gets confusing. The first 10 Gnomes game was logical but still made you work for it because of the time limit.

A disappointing sequel.

Where on earth is the hand? I don't see it at all.

Reply

I think this one is just as hard as the first one since I didn't find all 10. Got 7 on my first try, I might have gotten 8 on my first try on the first one. Mmmmm, I do think the spots to find the little guys is a bit harder to find. And I like how the environment is more 3-D (rotating around the statue).

Reply

well, to get the hand you go to the clearing, got to the (i think) rightest hotspot, and run all the way to mexico. now i KNOW i will look at the comments before playing a game in this series.

Not working for me.

oooh! I love this game!!!

Yay, gnomes! I liked this one even better than the first BECAUSE of all the different levels. It was more challenging, and yet I did better on my first try of this one. Still--can't find #10! I'll have to try again.

Extra bonus easter egg:

On the screen where you click to find gnome number 1 (far left), click in the upper upper left corner of the scene just before you find the gnome to find a nice bench with an elderly copule sitting down.

Geez that hand was scary. A little to complex to be fun like the first game.

Yes, the hand was scary. And I agree that it is possible to get disoriented in this game. It is defenately harder then the first one. I found 8 gnomes in the first, 5 in the second.

at the base of the tree in the foreground next to the statue?

A prominent hand with the ubiquitous disguised version of the sign of the horns for Mateusz to showcase his affiliation with the much to be desired masonic groups, so that they, in turn, grant him his success and popularity. Well, you aren't getting my approval on those choices, Mateusz.
