Big hint for the final mission in Act 3:

<sp>I see people suggesting you need the battery to hurt the centipede. This is not true! Just estimate the centipede's position by the cuts, and stab with the chainsaw. This makes life MUCH easier, because you won't need to restore vitals like when the heart stops.</sp>
I hope that helps!
Also, regarding BUM,
<sp>He unlocked for me after the Delerium mission. I did happen to have all A ranks for act 1, and nothing under a C for 2, 3, and the secret missions. Perhaps his appearance is tied to scores or ranks?</sp>
- SirNiko

Loved that game far too much! My mind seems to work them out instantly... maybe I should be a time travelling robot...
I did as above on the last level, except I found that doing things by the seconds did not work as they seemed to change in each replay (I think this is a bug?), but I'm sure the sign means something? Anyone?

I love this game!
It's got such cute characters and is really original
I like finding out each ones different story
Kroko is my favourite ^^ I'm gonna buy him
WALKTHROUGH
(please try really hard and use professional assistance to help you out before reading spoilers)
<sp>Kroko:<sp>Give him a THERAPUTIC INTERVIEW and he'll get out of his box</sp><sp>Use ADMINISTRATION OF DRUGS to calm him down a bit</sp><sp>Then DREAM ANALYSIS(I usually do to first but i couldn't this time</sp><sp>He's still nerous so he needs MOTIVATION TRAINING</sp><sp>Use MUSICOTHERAPY and he'll get a flute</sp><sp>Try DREAM ANALYSIS again...He lost his flute ;_;</sp><sp>Now DESENSIATION to cure his fear of water</sp><sp>Now MUSICOTHERAPY to get another flute</sp><sp>Nearly done, just DREAM ANAYLYSIS again so he gets his hot water bottle and he's cured!</sp>
Lilo:<sp>Use DREAM ANALYSIS to see what he's thinking about</sp>,<sp>Then ring the CRISIS LINE</sp><sp>Then use PLAY THERAPY and give him a gameboy (he looks like my little brother when hes playing his gameboy lol)</sp><sp> DREAM ANALYSIS again (if it's not the bit with the big equation do it twice)</sp><sp>Give his a THERAPUTIC INTERVIEW</sp><sp>Now for some MUSICOTHERAPY</sp><sp>Use PLAY THERAPY and he'll have a flashback, (how can he fit all that stuff inside him!) then </sp><sp> Use CRISIS LINE so he can phone home.Yay he's cured!(Let's just hope no one else needs the phone for a while)</sp>Sly:<sp>Let's see what he's thinking with DREAM ANALYSIS</sp><sp>Now for ADMINISTRATION OF DRUGS</sp><sp>Let's try some MOTIVATIONAL TRAINING...does anyone else find this one a bit strange?</sp><sp>LEt's see how he feels after that, more DREAM ANALYSIS ahh lots of tails!</sp><sp>use MUSICOTHERAPY and give his a rattle</sp><sp> Then use the THERAPUTIC INTERVIEW and DREAM ANALYSIS until he has the flashback where he's thrown out of the car</sp><sp> Then you can use the SURGERY option to fix his tail. CUred!</sp> Dolly:<sp>Firstly DREAM ANALYSIS</sp><sp>Then a THERAPUTIC INTERVIEW...</sp><sp>Another DREAM ANALYSIS (I don't know why Lilo's theres with a sock on his nose :P)</sp><sp>Then a THERAPUTIC INTERVIEW</sp><sp>Then she does some knitting in OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY and makes a nose sock</sp><sp>Then DREAM ANALYSIS (Lilo in the background again) and then Dolly's inner wolf breaks out (She's one of those reversible plush animals)</sp><sp>Then use ADMINISTRTION OF DRUGS so she'll stop panicking</sp><sp> Then use DREAM ANALYSIS and she'll have a flashback, and finally</sp><sp>use TRIGGER STIMULUS so she can put her nose sock on the dog and make friends with her inner wolf</sp>Dub:<sp>First use DREAM ANALYSIS</sp><sp> Then use MOTIVATION TRAINING</sp><sp> Next take away his stopwatch with CONFISCATION so he isn't distracted</sp><sp>Then DREAM ANALYSIS again and he'll retreat into his shell</sp><sp>Then look under the bed and click(If you can't find it click PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE)and electrocute him slightly until he comes out (thanks Channy)I don't really like this bit :(</sp><sp>Then use EXERCICE THERAPY yay a balloon!</sp><sp>DREAM ANALYSIS again...</sp><sp>EXERCICE THERAPY...and then he'll start to cry for a while, and you'll have to wait a bit. Then wait until there are no tissues left in the box</sp><sp> and finally use DREAM ANALYSIS.How cute is that? Cured and finished ;) </sp></sp>STORIES
<sp>Kroko: <sp>He used to be a hot-water bottle cover, but his owner took away his bottle and used him as a mop cover, which was the cause for his hydrophobia. The pattern on the lady's dress looked like eyes so he was afraid of the eyes.</sp>
Lilo: <sp>His owner used his zip mouth to keep her things in, and she hid the answers to a test in his mouth, but the teacher found out and took away the answers so Lilo feels he has to work out the puzzle himself</sp>
Sly: <sp>His owners used his tail to keep drugs in, but they saw a police car behind them so they threw him out the window. His rattle got run over so his rattle broke and the drugs got crushed and made him go crazy</sp>
Dolly: <sp>Her owner used her as a chew toy for her dog which made her have a fear of dogs, and also a fear of her wolf side. She's afraid of letting her wolf side get out, but she's sometimes confused between her sheep self and her wolf self (hence the barking and howling when she's still a sheep)</sp>
Dub: <sp> When his owner was at the airport on one of those escalator things she dropped him and he couldn't catch up with her. A health club owner picked him up and turned his shell inside out because it had a racing stripe on it. Dub is obsessed with training now because he's afraid of being left behind if he's not fast enough.</sp></sp>

- Myzo

marthoma-

<sp>On the main menu, choose Options, then click on "Cheats and Mods" at the bottom. Type the passwords in the blank, then click to enable the cheats you want. Remember, though, that the cheats that really help you won't let you add to your score or achieve milestones while using them, so they're really just for fun.</sp>
- Neddo

Sinta copies its game mechanic and some design from Dark Castle:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Castle

Unfortunately, it has the same annoying final level guard that knocks you into a dungeon if you don't kill him in time. So, instead of being able to use your lives on the boss, if you get distracted, you end up trudging your way back out of the dungeon over and over, and through the two levels preceding the boss. Not fun.

On the other hand, playing Dark Castle on our Mac Plus as a kid is one of my fondest memories.

- Strangelander

Haha, I spent like 20 minutes on level 15 of the Digit Puzzle unable to solve it. Then had to leave it, now, hours later came back and solved it in 3 minutes :DDD

I like this game. The idea, the difficulty curve, the simpleness, the user-friendliness (no time limit, loadable levels), everything shouts "casual".

- bioLarzen

Comment on "Weekend Download"

(@bockers, There is an infinite number of objects in the world, but a finite number of free stock photographs of pre-cropped objects with transparent background you only need to copy, paste and resize... :) )

But anyways,

I just wanted to retract my first opinion and say Noitu Love 2 is awesome. Seriously, it rules. Once you give it a chance, it feels so much like a game from those good old 80's and 90's arcades - it is on par with the best-of-breed, especially the phenomenal Metal Slug series.

However, I think the designer messed up a few things which might hurt the game experience. Firstly, he allowed customization of an energy bar, and secondly, he has created two levels of difficulty, "normal" (which is really very easy) and "hard" (which is, well, hard). This means 95% of players will beef up the energy bar, choose "normal" and breeze through the game using a simple brute-force approach, without ever needing to master various combat techniques or trying out different strategies to defeat those wonderful bosses.

The thing is, Noitu Love 2 seriously shines on "Hard" difficulty - bosses have more attacks and are much harder to kill, there are much less healing "nuts" flying around and altogether the game is much more challenging and satisfying and rewards experimenting with various combat strategies. Sadly, with finite continues most players will realize that on hard they will have to restart from level 1 multiple times (which is unfairly frowned upon in today's gaming culture) and will never get to enjoy those higher levels - and some of those boss fights are truly epic - normal difficulty just doesn't give them justice. Last boss on "hard" in particular is pure bliss - hard as nails, exhausting but never unfair to the persistent player.

Anyways, if you haven't tried Noitu Love 2 yet, try it, buy it, but play it on hard (or at least reduce your life bar on Normal). This game deserves to be mastered, not breezed through.

Jay, give this game a proper review, please, don't leave it bundled up with these sub-par games!

- baba44713

This game is long, so long in fact that I gave up.
Tired of the load screens for each scene.
Usually I hate gory/scary/horror movies, but I go for the scary point and click games every time.
This one had my stomach churning quite a few times, and other times I was laughing at how *not* scary the "scary" parts were, such as the part with <sp> old school VW Bugs</sp>. That was laughable.
I agree that the part <sp> with the book that flashes a series of real mutilated body pics </sp> was a bit much even for a scary game.
All in all I enjoyed what I played, but be warned that this one gets annoying with the screen loads.
And it is more gory than scary.

- HB

For those who said topple was hard/punishing. After painstakingly hopping my way up to 50, and seeing no change in gameplay, I just held down D and mashed W repeatedly till 200 when I suicided out of boredom. The only challenge is trying to control your circle with any sort of accuracy or consistency, which it turns out you don't need to do anyways.
