Mummy Busters Mummy Busters is a puzzle platformer by Dharmasta AW where you clear pyramids of all the somethings strange that are skulking its halls. Mummy Busters introduces elements at just the right pace to keep things entertaining, and even if a few levels are frustrating in the timing skills required, it'll keep you walking-like-an-Egyptian back to it.

Earth Taken 2 In Earth Taken 2, an action platformer by SeethingSwarm, you are a survivor, trying desperately to shoot through the hordes of aliens who've turned the world toxic. So a lot like the first Earth Taken, then. Jocularity aside, though, while there's a lot that's the same, gameplay has also been refined, making this the sci-fi horror game the original could and should have been.

Labyrinth: Secrets of ShadowHaven Help a cute, scampering demon-thingy storm the dark castle, crack the magic orbs, defeat devilish bosses, restore sunlight to the land, and score some sweet upgrades in Labyrinth: Secrets of ShadowHaven, a roguelike platformer by Nick Pasto and Luis Castanon. Fractured 2 Sometimes you're in a mood for a simple, yet artsy deconstructed puzzle platformer. Deconstructed, you ask? OUTt Two creatures find themselves trapped and separated below ground following a cave in, and must use some unique abilities, plus good old fashioned reflexes, to avoid the mechanical monstrosities and reunite. Mike Inel's puzzle platformer might be a bit slow for its focus on running and jumping, but throw in some clever mechanics and a gorgeous presentation, and you have a charmer that will reward the patient.

The Labyrinth of Keys Calling it "The Labyrinth of Keys" is a bit of a misnomer. Perhaps it would better be called "The Labyrinth of One Key". After all, you only get one key, and you've got to use it wisely if you want to have any hope of escaping in Matthew Rodriguez's action-puzzle-platformer game of the same name.

Pandesal Boy A bread delivery goes wrong when you accidentally upset a cosmic beast that curses you and the world into bizarre upheaval! Rotate, blast, split, and puzzle your way through this creative and challenging platformer!

Above Average Guy Watching TV is for suckers. Participating is where it's at, especially when it's a lethal live TV gameshow filled with some of the strangest challenges around. Though a better puzzle game than a platformer, Above Average Guy still has clever ideas and style to burn.

Fading Light Short but sweet, this puzzle platformer makes up for a few odd design choices by having some clever ideas and a haunting atmosphere to illustrate its optimistic and heartfelt message.

Pixel Escape Help the pixels escape the advancing glitch-wall of doom in Pixel Escape, a run-and-jump platform game by Jonny and Eugene. Pixel Escape can be a little overwhelming to the senses, but it'll be hard to stop playing till you've gotten every one of those darn things to safety.

Twisted Adventures: Little Red Riding Hood Here's a version of Little Red Riding Hood you haven't seen yet: a spooky little girl with glowing eyes goes on a puzzle platform journey. She jumps from globe to globe in three different eerie worlds, avoiding all manner of monsters and freeing white bunnies along the way. Strange? Yes. Wonderfully atmospheric and surprisingly challenging? Absolutely.

Zombinsanity Good news: you now have the entire space station to yourself. Bad news: that's only if you don't count an endless supply of zombies. Jimp and Jay Armstrong serve up a fun and chaotic, if repetitive, zombie arena shooter with a fantastic design.

Crash TV Crash TV is a high-difficulty platformer whose protagonist is a strangely limber TV set. The goal is to connect to a big computer somewhere beyond a series of dangerous rooms. To achieve this, our little TV has to jump, grapple and sneak its way through holes, spikes and lasers.

Together (Alex Starovoyt) Working as one, two little squares must navigate towering structures and pits of spikes to find where they belong. Though this puzzle platformer is on the easy side and doesn't quite develop enough of a personality, its stylish presentation and enjoyable gameplay make it the perfect coffee break distraction.

Blade Rush Part stealth game, part challenging platformer, Blade Rush's minimalist style masks a surprisingly fun and fast-paced game that forces you to keep moving as you zip around lethal stages taking out foes in one hit... before they do the same to you!

Alien Splatter Aliens have invaded Earth! You are the only one who can stop them! So you'd better go stop them! A nostalgic retro run-and-gun platform shooter by Sinclair Strange that hearkens to the 8-bit era, Alien Splatter may not entirely live up to the challenge of NES classics like Contra and Ninja Gaiden, but it's a pixelated good time.

Leaf Me Alone (Expanded) A expansion of both the gameplay and quirky game-world of the Ludum Dare original, Leaf Me Alone (Expanded) by Mark Foster and David Fenn, has players explore all corners and all seasons of a pixelated forest. Though like most Metroidvanias, a little more direction would be helpful, all in all, this is the refined half-sequel, half-remake those charmed by the original have been waiting for.

Home Sheep Home 2: Lost in Space Holy sheep! Our favourite fleecy friends hatch a plan to get dinner that goes awry when they find themselves zapped aboard an alien spaceship. You'll need all your physics puzzle skills to have out three sheep work together to find their way home... and you'll even have to think with Portals in the process!

Once Upon a Life Though it starts off slow, this platforming puzzle is full of surprises and unexpectedly touching to boot, as you play a jetpack-toting old man gathering up photographic memories of his past and going on one last grand adventure.

Acid Bunny: Episode 2 Seething Swarm's darkly adorable and adorably dark hallucination afflicted lapine protagonist is back for more platforming action in Acid Bunny: Episode 2. Though admittedly, it's incredibly similar to the previous installment, that just means the slightly-offensive fun can continue unabated. Final Charge Final charge is a difficult platformer, but a straightforward and simply-designed one at that. Run and jump around the sixteen sectors of the strange planet to activate the beacons and clean up the radioactivity. It's just that simple... if you don't count the laser beams, drill bits, rockets, mechanical spiders, acid pits, and buffet line of electrical hazards in your way. Y'know, no biggie.

Bring Me the Star You're on a journey to collect 33 pieces of a fallen star which starts out simply enough but soon throws you into an extraordinary quest that tests your wits and precision platforming skills. Some levels will bend your brain while others will mess with your mind. Use [arrow] keys and [space] to navigate and activate special abilities with other keys, doing whatever you must to prove your devotion and gather the star pieces for your loved one.

Type:Rider Type:Rider is a puzzle platform game as well as an interactive learning experience created by Cosmografik. Taking some visual cues from games like LIMBO, it casts you in the role of two twin orbs traveling through a shadowy world. With Type:Rider, though, those aren't just random shapes you're rolling over and collecting. They're typefaces, each taken from some of the most recognizable fonts throughout history. As you head through each level, you'll relive that journey one unlockable manuscript at a time. And you might actually learn something cool along the way!

Twizz'ed Firefarta Harness the power of your butt!... stop looking at me like that. Gameshot delivers a silly yet endearingly quirky little puzzle platformer where you must navigate hazards such as spikes and elephants using only the power of flatulence.

Box Life You're trapped in a big, box-like room. You have nothing that can help you escape. The best you can do is explore and hope you find something interesting. But don't worry, for such a minimalistic game, Box Life sure is full of fun secrets.

Red Ball 4 Volume 3 Though short, this latest installment in the physics platformer series is just as enjoyable as the rest, with many new elements like lasers and bombs to go along with its new industrial setting.

Zombotron 2: Time Machine Zombotron is back! When your ship off this zombie-ridden world still lacks fuel, you set out to find some. Unfortunately for you, it's never that simple. With more elaborate levels and all the explosive physics action you've come to expect, this latest Zombotron installment is just as weird and wonderfully addictive as ever.

Naya's Quest In this refreshing twist on an isometric puzzler from Terry Cavanagh, young Naya lives in a post-apocalyptic world and goes searching for something to aid in her quest for clarity. Blending puzzle-platforming with mind-bending level design and a sparse yet atmospheric story, it's as compelling as it is challenging, minus a few bumps along the way.

The Telekinetic Incident In The Telekinetic Incident, a love letter to Portal by Matthew Fearrington, you play as a woman named Sarah Walker. That is, you play as a clone of Sarah, and you've been given telekinetic abilities by Ifrit Incorporated. Can you lift, laser, clone, and forcefield your way through Ifrit's facilities and learn the story of how you came to be there? At least there's no shortage of clones.

Captain Robert Why is it that something bad always happens to space research missions? You play Captain Robert in this narrative-driven exploration game, made for Ludum Dare 27. After waking up from a bad bump on the head, you'll need to explore your ship to discover the fate of your crew and piece together all the mysterious things going on.

Earth Taken Earth Taken is an action platformer by SeethingSwarm that casts you as the desperate measures that the desperate needs of an alien menace require. Happily Never After Happily Never After is a lovingly depicted tale of a young girl hungry for adventure. She dares to explore a mysterious forest, guided by the voice of the narrator, who warns of dangers ahead and provides the wise moral. That is, until our heroine decides she wants to do things her way, and from then on the story becomes... somewhat unconventional.

Pause Ahead Normally when you pause a game, everything stops, but in this hard as nails platformer, your momentum is preserved, allowing you to soar through hazards and over great distances... which does NOT make it any easier. A beautiful looking, beautiful sounding game that will pound the snot out of you at any given opportunity, and for some people, that's exactly what they're looking for.

Once In The Cave Once in the cave, there was a cliff, a fire, and some shadow puppets... oh, wait. Wrong cave. Once in the cave, there was a wizard searching for the evil wizard in AnienaGames' new platformer. Earn achievements, unlock skills, and experiment to find the best way to defeat your enemies.

Gilmo: The Inner Self This puzzle platformer is the story of a spirit who gets chained within an earthly body and must find out a way to get back where he belongs. A beautiful game with a great concept and some flaws dragging it down to earth. If you have the patience for it and a steady hand, it's well worth checking out and admiring. Just... don't expect it to be as forgiving as you.

Transmorpher 2 Transmorpher 2 is a great action-puzzle platformer hybrid in which you control four aliens, each with different abilities. In twenty-two levels you will encounter a large number of things especially designed to kill you, from lasers to acid puddles to hostile creatures, and you'll have to use brain as well as brawn to negotiate cleverly designed stages and reach the end.

Leave Me a Clone Daniel Haslop's puzzle platformer, Leave Me a Clone, will give you quite a challenge through all 35 levels. Play as the cute little yellow alien who just wants to get through the next portal. Create clones of yourself to act as stepping stones (and any other use you can find for them) toward your final goal. And if you happen to earn stars along the way by collecting all the energy orbs or limiting your clone use, all the better!

Super Mario Bros. Crossover 3.0 Now in its third major release, this platformer allows you to play as everyone from better-than-Boba-Fett bounty huntress Samus Aran to Mega Man 10's Bass, all with their iconic abilities intact, tearing up the classic Super Mario Bros. levels you know and love. Dismissing this as just a simple knock-off is doing it a disservice, and this latest update cements its position as one of the crown jewels in the fan creation crown.

Pretentious Game Pretentious Game is a series of three minimalistic episodes about love, loss and growth. Although narrated in short sentences and illustrated only by the characters' simple actions, the games are powerful and engaging, handling human frailty in a unique way.

Soom The end is only the beginning, when one man's decision to commit suicide turns into a bizarre journey to collect the shattered pieces of his soul. Bend reality by creating portals, folding your environment and more to put yourself together as you avoid enemies and complete some seriously challenging levels.

I Feel Free Want to feel free? Take a break and play I Feel Free, a Metroidvania-esque platformer where you start out as just a mere blob, but build yourself up to something greater. Similar to a shorter version of K.O.L.M., you can travel around the caverns collecting upgrades that allow you to access new areas, and maybe even experience freedom from restlessness.

Frank'n'Slime Being a slime...thing...can't be easy. Especially if you're trapped in a series of tests and belittled by your creator. In this puzzle platformer, use your jumping, pushing, and gravity changing skills to escape and show that mad scientist what-for!

The Ruins of Machi Itcza A retro metroidvania platformer by MNWS, The Ruins of Machi Itcza will have you feeling like Pitfall Harry. The purely exploration gameplay is tempered a bit by slow character movement, but overall, the game captures the archaeological feel of rediscovering something ancient and mysterious.

Treasure Bear A bear falls asleep in a fruit crate and finds himself in a dungeon in Slime Prince's castle. The bear teams up with a treasure chest and they go on a slime-destroying, treasure-hunting adventure. If that's not bizarre enough, wait till you see them bouncing off a huge pig roast amidst a pile of broken plates.

Ripple Dot Zero An instant-classic riff on 90s blast-processing platformers, Ripple Dot Zero is an action platformer by Pixeltruss that has just the right mix of dystopia and penguins. Expansive levels to explore, secrets galore to uncover, and an awesome chiptune soundtrack make Ripple Dot Zero does great at making something new made out of something familiar.

Comic Book Cody When Cody's comic book collection is stolen by a gang of thieves, he sets out to get it back and discovers that gathering them unlocks super powers of his own! Despite some unimaginative level design and repetition, this platformer offers a great premise and a ton of personality that make it an easy choice for younger gamers-in-training!

King's Ascent King's Ascent is a vertical-scrolling action platform game that shows life on the throne is always uncertain, especially when giant skeleton beasts are chasing you up the tower. Gameplay is generally familiar, but the plotting has a deconstructive edge that should separate it from the pack.

Reverse Boots The last time magic footwear solved anything, all they did was help a young girl get home to Kansas. The shoes in Denis Vasilev's new platformer game Reverse Boots are a bit more utilitarian than that: every time you jump, you change your environment. It gets mindbending very quickly, even if the shoes don't sparkle.

Rocket Pets Rocket Pets isn't quite a launch game. And it isn't quite a platformer. Somehow, Jay Armstrong and Jimp have combined the two genres, added some cute fuzzy animals wearing jetpacks, and thrown in some spikes for good measure, and the result is a ridiculously cute game where you go around collecting coins, buying upgrades, and earning achievements.

I Hate Candy How could anyone possibly hate candy? Well, if you're the snarky alien hero sent to a candy planet to rescue scientists from cuddly, cheerful toys who want nothing better than to pelt you with the stuff, it's probably pretty easy. A beautiful, silly platforming shooter with a ton of levels.

Bob the Robber 2 Bob the charitable robber is back! Once again you can steal to your heart's content, and you don't even have to feel guilty about it. Help Bob stay out of sight of guards, watchdogs and security cameras, and empty every drawer and pocket you can find. It's all for a good cause, so do your best!

Darktopia Escape from a cursed alien tomb, find your crewmate and — if you're particularly fortunate — come out of it all with the brand new, uh, old fabulous Idol of Tavor as your lovely planetary parting gift. Metroidvania-style action and adventure await you in this sci-fi platformer.

Papa Louie 2: When Burgers Attack! Go from serving customers to saving them in Flipline's platformer featuring your favorite characters from the Papa's series. When a mysterious customer warps all your regular customers away, you'll have to rescue them from man-eating food. Jump, crawl, glide, and slide to fully explore each level to find everyone who is missing!

Colour Blind It may look cute and simple, but Nitrome's latest puzzler has some serious teeth to its challenge. When your girlfriend, a walking eyeball (it's cool, you're one too) is abducted by a jealous cloud, you set out to get her back. Paint yourself with colours to change your environment and get ready for a platformer that's going to challenge your reflexes!

Leaf Me Alone The scores have been tabulated and the results are in: the overall winner of the minimalism-themed Ludum Dare 26 72-hour Game Jam is Leaf Me Alone, a retro Metroidvania-style platformer by Mark Foster and David Fenn. Now, "minimalism" and "Metroidvania" aren't two words that usually go together, but Foster and Fenn has put together a wonderful little world for a pixelated-blob-type-thing to explore, if one that could use a little more direction from time to time.

Flip and Go Once upon a time there was a little alien meeting his girlfriend in the park. But then there was some candy, and a world that you can flip along its axis, and then there was Flip and Go, an adorable puzzle platformer by Lampogolovii.

Lost Fluid Short but sweet, this little platform puzzle game stars a ball of blue alien goop that crashes into a strange and sterile place. You'll need to explore and solve a puzzle or two to find your real purpose, and though it's almost more concept than full game, is still worth the few minutes it'll take you.

Red Ball 4 Volume 2 Red Ball 4 is back with the second volume of physics-based fun! Roll and jump your way through fifteen new levels and eliminate your enemies as you try to protect the planet from being taken over by sinister black blocks. Let the bouncing begin!
