As I Lay Dying Teale Fristoe believes that love is expressed through devotion and makes this point quite succinctly in his latest platform adventure game. As I Lay Dying has one of the genre's more bizarre premises, but what really makes it stand out is how well the premise is integrated with the gameplay. Thankfully, the remarkably morbid subject matter is handled with as much dark comedy as Fristoe could muster. All in all, this is a solid platformer with an unusual enough premise that it's worth a look.

Imagia 2: The Dome Imagia 2 picks up right where Imagia 1 left us, pointing and clicking our way around a mysterious rooftop, gathering clues about just what we're trying to accomplish in the first place. If you were hoping for answers in this sequel from Kayzerfish, I'm afraid we're still in questions without answers mode. You know, like the first season of Lost, only no smoke monster. The observant player, however, should gather enough to seriously pique curiosity and we can only hope subsequent chapters will follow close behind.

Truck Loader With graffiti on the walls, funky-fresh music and a grunchy-chic environment, you'd think that Truck Loader was trying a little too hard to be cool. Were this another shoot 'em up or platformer, I'd probably have dismissed it outright but Truck Loader is a refreshingly ghetto-looking stack 'em up puzzler with a twist.

Super Treadmill Super Treadmill is yet another prime example of interesting Nitrome fare. It takes a not-so-simple run-and-jump game and gives it an added twist: it's an allegedly old game emulated on modern technology, bad connection and all. If you're willing to see the game through to the end, then go ahead and hop on the Super Treadmill!

Bomboozle 2 Vanilla, jeans, thunderbolts - there have been many variations and 'improvements', but nothing that beats the original. That also goes for many puzzle games and while people are less inclined to meet an old favourite during an adventure game, on their own they hit the sweet spot. That, more or less, summarises my opinion of Bomboozle 2. It might not break new ground or usher in the new era of 'pop the colors' puzzle games, but this take on a classic isn't broken either!

Modern Mystery Modern Mystery is the escape title of the week this time around. The game, naturally, begins with you trapped in a rather comfy lounge-like room. It's nicely furnished—a bit of abstract art on the walls, a potted plant, two leather chairs, a laptop computer—but you still want out by any means. Go around collecting objects, putting clues together, and solving puzzles in order to collect more objects, hopefully at some point getting one or both of those doors open and terminating your confinement.

Liquid Measure 2 Liquid Measure 2 mixes Pipe Mania, water collection puzzles and simple idea physics into a nice glass of flash gaming fun. The difficulty is perhaps overly easy, but the mechanics are clever and the professional presentation should quench your thirst for a half hour.

Aah Little Atlantis This is your mission in Aah Little Atlantis, a pixelated turn-based strategy game; try to save as much of the Atlantean populace as you can, using nothing but floods, meteors, and the populace's own panicked fleeing. Your tools are floods and meteors, and you will deploy one of each on a single map tile, once every turn. Your charges are little Atlantean sprites, who will flee in terror from the ravaging deluge you let loose upon them, though they are oddly sanguine about meteors and will happily run toward them.

Demons Took My Daughter When there is no more room in hell, demons will walk the earth, stealing soft plushy toys so you can't use them to find your daughter, unless you use a combination of platforming and defense to stop them... that's, uh... how that goes, right? Nerdook delivers another clever genre hybrid, this time putting you into the shoes of one weird dad trying to save his daughter from even weirder enemies.

IntoSpace! A Gray-Haired Science Guy has been ordered by his government to launch a rocket straight to the moon in Barbarian Games' new take on the launch action genre. Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal Adult Swim revisits their incredibly popular arcade game of robotic unicorns and falling stars in this heavy metal re-imagining. While it doesn't reinvent the gameplay, it does provide an alternative for those of you who were always secretly ashamed by how their heart skipped a beat whenever they heard Erasure, and offers up all the addictive play of the original. But how the heck are you supposed to play this and headbang at the same time?! My hair keeps getting in the way!

Doodle Devil In the beginning, there was nothing. Then, some things were created by an all-benevolent superbeing-type god. A not-so-benevolent deity also has a job to do, though, and once the world exists, his task is to cause a little mayhem. The original Doodle God, both the iPhone version and the browser game, focused on creating the universe by mixing basic elements one after the other. Haunt The House This is your chance to be the spook, and we don't mean the sort that stare at goats. This simply vibrant and unusual action puzzler by the Super Flash Bros puts you in the role of a ghost who seeks to haunt a house in peace and quiet, but your house has been overrun by a bunch of noisy party guests and it's up to you to scare the living daylights out of all thirty, yes thirty, of them.

Coaster Racer Coaster Racer is a first-person racing game where you compete against 16 other off-road race cars across eight elevated rollercoaster-like tracks. Along the way, you can pick up cash on the course and finish races to earn money for upgrades and repairs to your racer.

Gravity Duck In this physics puzzle platformer from WoblyWare, the Maoi Duck God has demanded tribute, and has luckily granted you, his humble servant, power over gravity to fulfill his godly demands. Wallace's Workshop Wallace and Gromit are back with another game, a physics puzzler that will well and truly test your noggin. Necessity is the mother of invention and apparently it's a necessity to get Crash-Test-Wallace from one end of a workshop into a waiting chute by inventing contraptions to help him get there. You'll use a variety of apparatus and mechanisms in your creations including balloons, motors, wheels and rockets. There's even dynamite!

Ghost Hacker In the battle between man and machine, what side will you take? You are a human who has volunteered to be "digitized" in an effort to bring a halt to the rogue AIs that are plaguing cyberspace. But who can you really trust? CoreSector's tower defense strategy game is an engaging, addictive title with eye-catching aesthetics, upgrades, enemy types, and an interesting story to tell.

Lilith and Emma: A Friend at Hallows Eve Emma and Lilith are two little girls with a lot in common despite some differences... like fangs and a few centuries. These two spot-the-difference games are meant to be played together for both perspectives, and the end result is a short but sweet little experience that lightens up the spooky Halloween season, and is perfect to be enjoyed with whatever little monster you have in your life.

Enigma A previous work from Rosetta Escape author, Otousan, Enigma is an escape game that takes place in a pretty bare bones room. While not the elusive perfect room escape game we are always searching for, Enigma is still an amusing beginning and highlights the ability of a new talent on the escape scene.

Boondog Boondog is an action/puzzle platformer similar to classic titles such as Another World and the original Prince of Persia. The main character is quite the acrobat, able to jump, climb, and leap all over the place at will. The action is parceled out in simple moves, though, forcing you to perform your physical feats one step at a time, and only after careful thought and execution. Add to that a bit of Sokoban-style barrel pushing and you've got an excellent diversion that tests both mental and physical reflexes.

Apokalyx Apokalyx is a turn-based RPG with a heavy focus on combat. Set 600 years after an apocalyptic event, you'll create a character and start fighting your way to being the top gladiator. Apokalyx works just as well in small doses as it does for long sessions of play. If you want a turn-based combat heavy RPG then this will keep you busy for a very long time.

Blosics 2 Level Pack Blosics 2 Level Pack is a new series of levels and a custom editor for the physics puzzler, Blosics 2. SpreadPath SpreadPath is a unique new puzzle game from Andrey Shponko that uses growth by spreading as its core gameplay mechanic. In order to achieve enlightenment by spreading, you must cover each target square with a creature of the matching color. Wherever your path takes you, SpreadPath is an intriguing challenge to push your logic and puzzle-solving abilities into new territories.

FireBoy and WaterGirl 2: The Light Temple FireBoy and WaterGirl 2: The Light Temple is the sequel to Oslo Albet's last Forest Temple offering. In it, you control two cute elemental characters as they attempt to grab various gems and reach their exits. Each character can be controlled independently or at the same time, leading to some interesting teamwork-based platform puzzles. The Light Temple includes extra light and darkness-based stages in a robust 40 level pack.

Glorg Control an adorable unibrowed cycloptic hero in this twist on the RPG genre, killing monsters, finding weapons, collecting loot and exploring dungeons. The twist is, all the inputs are controlled with the repeated clicks of a single mouse button. Quite entertaining, if a little bit repetitious, and yet addictive, too.

Corporate Climber It's a dog-eat-dog world out there, kid! The corporate world takes no prisoners and even you won't escape in a new platformer from Adult Swim Games. You begin as a lowly poop-shoveler and eventually work your way up to becoming CEO of your company...meaning you're shoveling an entirely different kind of poop but making more money while doing it.

In3structoTank! Who doesn't love blowing things up? Nobody, that's who. Why, you probably love blowing things up so much, you'd do it by hurling yourself bodily at other people if you could. Well, now you can, in the third installment of everyone's favourite arcade action series featuring an indestructible tank. Chain combos when you use explosions to propel yourself into the air and slamming into other enemies, playing in different game modes against new challenges and bosses.

RADiancE RADiancE is an arcade game that combines the best elements of the classic Breakout with the best elements of the classic game of Snake, but it much more than a slapdash chimera of two different classic games. The colorful neon graphics and inventive use of music and sound make for a bold, flashy presentation. And while there is more than a little bit of randomness in the gameplay, there is also enough skill required to make it interesting to arcade fans.

Black Market (Beta) You'll be put in the space shoes of Vincent Wake, a greenhorn to the whole inter-planetary trading thing. Luckily, you'll both have the dubious guidance of Hardgrove, a man who lives inside Vincent's eye-patch (or rather I-Patch). Black Market's gameplay is at its most basic a resource trading simulation. You can smuggle illegal items if you want, but there's always a chance your cargo might get searched as you're docking. That's the least of your worries, though. A far bigger threat are the pirates that roam the trade routes.

With 35 different endings and an extremely forgiving play style, Thousand Dollar Soul is a lot more complicated than you might think.

Pirates vs. Ninjas Why can't pirates and ninjas get along? Why can't you crazy kids just join hands, or hooks, and sing a little Kumbaya? Why must you alternate through sixty levels of smashing, launching, physics puzzle madness? Your creator ought to be ashamed of you.
