Again 4th is sharing with 1st. Something wrong? (Not that Company isn't awesome :)
[Edit: The JIG editorial team made a few selections to share awards in some categories. -Jay]
I'm glad Final Ninja 0 was 2nd place. That is an awesome game, though so is Company.
What happened to MoneySeize?
Congrats to the winners, both games are excellent. I love seeing how tough the competition is. Both my game, Tower of Greed, and the game Moneyseize didn't make the top positions (but were nominated), and are excellent games, just shows how there's always room for improvement. Thanks for hosting the awards, it's a nice mini-goal to keep in the back of my mind to shoot for in 2010.
Just played The Company of Myself for the first time... I'll comment on it in that thread.
Isn't "The Company of Myself" just like Chronotron? I haven't played it or looked anywhere else on this website, so don't hold me liable for any mistake I have made.
[I think you do a game and its creator a great injustice by making sweeping comparisons such as that. No, The Company of Myself is not "just like" Chronotron, and it offers a much deeper experience through the narrative that unfolds. That said, the two games do share a similar gameplay mechanic. -Jay]
"This is the Only Level" has only one map. It was not so funny for me, but the idea is great.
