Treasure Adventure World

JohnBAnnouncement! Remember Treasure Adventure Game from 2011? Robit Studios has been working on a sequel for well over a year and a half, turning the simple sidescrolling adventure game into something exponentially more engrossing. Treasure Adventure World is set to do everything Treasure Adventure Game did, only with smoother gameplay, HD widescreen mode with hi-res artwork, more treasures, more collectibles, better enemy AI, an enhanced story with multiple endings, and plenty of other extras. In short, yes, you'll want this game. You'll want it bad.

Treasure Adventure World isn't out yet, but the team has opened up pre-orders to help fund development. It's being run with several tiers of contributions, allowing you to get some extra bonuses along with securing your copy of the game. The more that's contributed, the more goals are unlocked, the more neat things the game gets.

Head over to the Treasure Adventure World pre-order site now, see what's new and awesome!

Having watched the trailers and looked at the screenshots, I'm not a fan of the new art style compared with TAG's pixel art. However, the original TAG was so good that I have pre-ordered anyway, just to support the game and give a bit of money to the developer. If you also played TAG for free and feel like you got at least $10 worth of enjoyment out of it, I encourage you to do the same, even if you don't think you will be playing the remake (you also have the option to gift it).

Treasure Adventure Game is amazing, and joins the list of my favourite games of all time. It's such a charming and beautiful open world to explore. The platforming, puzzles and boss fights were innovative and difficult, and so very very satisfying.
I really cannot wait for this much improved remake.

Crossy Road> Dora Endless arcade action meets classic Frogger style gameplay in this free iOS game where you control a series of hapless unlockable creatures trying to cross some very busy and very deadly roads and rapids. With a sense of humor and vibrant voxel graphics, it's both charming and hard to put down.  ...
Find the Escape-Men Part 126: The Special Property> Dora The apartment in this escape game's rent is suspiciously low, and there's a weird smell here too... so it's probably not a good sign your realtor has locked you inside! Experience a whole lot of weirdness (and a jump scare or two) in this very silly game from no1game.  ...

This War of Mine> Dora In this compelling and grim indie simulation, you control a group of survivors struggling to get by day to day in an increasingly dangerous city that's turned into a war zone. As the days pass, you're forced to push the limits of what you're comfortable with in order to survive, and rather than glorifying war for heroics, This War of Mine humanizes it for its people.  ...
