Chick Hide and Seek 6

elleOne of the great things about escape-the-room games is how stylistically versatile they can be considering the basic lock-you-up premise. There are some that are scary, others that are remarkably beautiful, and those that are trickily clever. Chick Hide and Seek 6 by Yuri falls into the Oh So Easy! Aw So Cute! category of escape games. Which is why it's so worthwhile: I dare you to play this game of hide and seek with ten chirpy balls of yellow fuzz and not crack a smile.

Chick Hide and Seek 6Use the yellow arrows to navigate and click to interact with objects, searching for all ten chicks: some chicks are hiding in plain sight, others need to be uncovered, and some need to be helped out of sticky situations. You'll also find a few simple puzzles and will need to use items creatively to reach certain chicks. After gathering your brood of tiny peeps together, it's a breeze to solve the door lock code and get out.

Chicks are tiny and it's their world, so the game is tiny, too. The smallness of the screen lends to eyestrain, but the design is clean and details are clear enough that there's no mistaking one object for another, even without a cursor change. Simple and sweet, Chick Hide and Seek 6 takes just a tiny portion of your day to play but leaves you with a large portion of cuteness to fill it with cheer.

Short but sweet! The ninja chick is very cute, but that's probably just how he lulls you into a false sense of security before unleashing his awesome ninja skills.

So cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute !!!

Paris : warm and sunny

When you finish, make sure to

Click on the chicks in the end screen.

Short and sweet and definitely made me crack a smile.

Awwwww, so cute!

They seem to have a lot of other games featuring little chicks, some cute dogs, lambs and even a cute ghost! I'll have to check them out, now. :)

I expect better than this from Weekday Escape.

Click the chicks at the end to wave at 'em.

Yay so cute! Reminded me of Nekonote's dwarf finders. The ninja chicky and the gang running to the tennis court (?) made me laugh like a big dope. Thanks!

I can't seem to get the page to load, I've tried in both IE and Chrome

[Are you using Mac, Windows or Linux? Using the latest Firefox and Chrome for Windows XP, I'm not having trouble loading this page. Sometimes clearing your cache, checking your settings and refreshing your browser will work. Or read our support page for more help. -elle]

FWIW, I had no trouble in Chrome on Mac OS.

Thanks for the reply, Elle!

I'm on Windows XP, and tried your suggestions on both IE and Chrome to no avail again today. It keeps opening the page as HTTP 403 Forbidden, saying the most likely cause is that I need to log in to the website. Bummed I can't play, but it's not a huge deal. The response was much appreciated though, keep up the good work!
