REW

DoraRewWe have to go back! Back to the beginning of the game! Or rather, to the end of it, if you want to find out the reason why the sleepy little creature in REW, Begamer's point-and-click puzzle game, appears to be a murderer. Click around to find the correct order of items that solves each screen, and whenever you do, you'll be transported a few minutes into the past and find another clue as to how things got so very grim. REW is a familiar concept in gameplay, but the backwards narrative works surprisingly well to drive you to keep playing, and while the gameplay is fairly simple, the moody presentation and clever twist on the genre makes this one to check out. Are you a villain? Or a victim? Or just the creepiest looking beaver-mouse-thinger around who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? Guess you'll have to find out.

Played this piece maybe 2 weeks ago. The storyline was a bit confusing on the first run through because I had trouble piecing it together from end to start.

@Solatoral:

this is what i got from the game. pretty much, the creature (i named him rew XD) did kill the 'sweet' old lady. but she was really a witch and she ruined rews birthday party. she cast a spell and turned some of the teddy bears into monsters and had them try to defeat rew. im still a little foggy on that last bit there. rew was upset and he wanted his friends back, so he stalked the old witch lady and murdered her to save his friends and his birthday cake!

i thought it was a fun little game, but it would have been better if

you started with the end scene, then went back to the beginning and played through in order. or at least if the slides at the end weren't shown so fast!

i still liked it a lot though! a nice quick little point and click

I really liked it!

Dora, I hope your first line was a LOST reference, because that's how I read it. :)

Cool game. It makes me want to watch Memento.

Interesting concept. I thought it was cool. Very original. I also thought of Memento.

ha! Too cute (and yet disturbing. Memento meets the Wizard of Oz.
