TrickyWake Up The Box 3Box? Wake up! We're at Grandma's House! Put your shoes on!... C'mon, do we have to get out the non-rotatable wooden objects and attach them to surroundings, and let the physics of the situation jostle you awake, like last time? Oh well... guess we do. Wake Up The Box 3 is the latest in Eugene Karataev's popular series of puzzle game.

It's obvious that a lot of care has been put into developing set pieces for the individual puzzles this time around, which has its advantages and disadvantages. While it keeps things visually interesting, and some are quite amusing, the trade-off comes in how there are only 16 levels to play, and how some previously introduced elements, like the "aggressive to wood" blocks and trampolines, are nowhere to be seen. Also, a couple of the levels feel out of place for the usual physics gameplay, being more suited for a pure point and click game like Monkey Go Happy... Seriously, we need to start taking a stand against random Angry Birds cameos. Still, it can't be denied that the out-of-left-field oddness of the ending makes up for a lot. Even if, at times, Wake Up The Box 3 feels a step backwards for the series, it remains a very fun coffee break kind of game.

Last two levels were harder but I got there in the end.

I can't get past level 14. As near as I can tell I'm doing just what it shows in the video walkthrough, but I still can't do more than gently nudge the box without making it fall.

@idk:
For Level 8:

Place the boards at the top of the wheel, sticking out to the left. Each successive one should just be touching the last as the wheel turns.

Sorry, but totally pathetic compared to the others. Very little logic and just random guessing and clicking.

I didn't like this one as much as the others in the series. The turtle on level 3 made up for it though, so I give it a 4.

Being flipped off in any forum is crass, crude, rude, obnoxious and unnecessary. Never is it funny or cute. Out of the myriad of other actions the developer(s) could have chosen, they chose this unfortunate one. Too bad for this game, but thanks for the peek into your personality and character. Now we know.
