It's genius! They won't have to worry about the invaders destroying the tower if they destroy it before they can reach it!

Oh, I'm sure this'll be very effective. Once.

It's Mario's Castle Calamity, it should be a feature: blow up surrounding enemies.
Btw, great comic and drawings James.

Can someone elaborate to me what they are trying to do?

@Twir - Why defending the tower obviously! If anyone sneaks up on them they can blow them (and themselves) sky high! @Sonic - I always look forward to your comments on these cartoons! Thanks and keep them coming.

...looks like my common tower defense strategy. Could be why I always end up losing after the first few waves...

@nox
i try to place a fully upgraded tower near the castle so they don't escape, NOT blow myself sky high

Ha! First of these I've even smiled at, and it was a full-blown laugh!

Either I've magically developed a sense of humor I used to lack, or these are improving. Either way, it's a good thing!

Maybe that dynamite *will* come in handy.

@Ewan
I laughed. Nice secondary caption--I wish it was an xkcd style alt-text
