Do you get bored commuting to work or school, sitting on the train or in the car with nothing to do? Our casual games can't always come to the rescue, forcing us to break out the brain cells and invent games of our own. Maybe you play I Spy, Count the Smelly People, or Read the Billboards Outloud to Annoy Everyone Else. No matter your diversion, Gamelab wants to hear it.
The creator of Miss Management, Egg Vs. Chicken, and Ayiti: The Cost of Life, Gamelab is hosting the Subway Scramble Commuter Contest seeking creative games you play on your daily commute. Even if you simply sit and twiddle your thumbs to pass the time, register on Gamelab's forums and post your ideas by August 17. The winner will score a free Gamelab game of his or her choice!

Hey jayisgames-Team,
you start crosslinking within your own page, i can understand that and its helpful within some border, but it's also annoying because you often get content you didn't want. For Example, in this post I clicked GameLabs expecting the Gamelabs homepage comming up, but instead i got all entries of gamelabs you ever posted. Of course its helpful and most times lead me to what i am interested in when i am reading this great blog, but sometimes you feel kinda kept cought in the 'evil jayisgames-system' :D
please, consider adding additional links when you place links like the GameLabs one that may let you expect somehting else. i don't expect something big (to be honest i don't expect you to to anything about that^^)
just a little addon like its common to make external links: (adding this small images wikipedia is using for external links.(Such an image)
Thank you.

That's a very good idea, Hulibuli, and I'll try to implement something like that soon.
For the time being, know that there is always a direct HTML link in every review to the game or site the post is about. It usually occurs the first time the title is referenced within the content of the review.
In the case above, the first time the words "Subway Scramble Commuter Contest" appear in the text is your direct link to gameLab's website.
You can expect that to be true in every post on JIG.
Thanks for your feedback. =)

It didn't work for me. I downloaded it and all that came up was a black screen. I couldn't even exit out. I ended up having to shut my computer down.

Downloaded what, gibbs?
The post is about a contest gamelab is running over at their forum. There's nothing to download really, just post your game ideas for a chance to win one of their games.

I've noticed it seems to be either feast or famine for game postings...we must be having a famine right now. *dramatic sob* No new game posting since Tuesday...and then bringing ever so much sadness to my weekend...no Friday Link Dump.
Just wanted to let you know I'm hungry and can't wait to be feasting again soon!!

Surf the archives, Glommie! There's tons of great stuff in there! There's no way you played all of them! And if you happen to be the ultimate JayIsGames guru, there are certainly plenty of games worth replaying!
Game on!!

it is a downloadable game!!!! please mark it as one. some people don't like downloadable games... perhaps you could open up two categories - so it would be easier! ;)
[Edit: While Subway Scramble is, indeed, a downloadable game, this post is for a contest gamelab is running on their site. There's nothing to download, just post your game ideas on their forum. -Jay]

A great idea? A game developer mining for free game ideas on their forum. What's the matter, can't they design their own games anymore?

You sound bitter, Cody. Do you have something against contests that reward creativity?
