As per the walkthrough near the top of the page

There is a crumpled piece of paper that you get to via a side-view of the desk.

Please . . . I can't seem to manipulate the box at the desk in order to put in the marbles! Do I need to put the box somewhere on the desk or what?

The hardest part was the marble equation at the end. A pretty good game over all, though!

Do you mean the little square box? The marbles don't go in there.

There are instructions as to what to do with the little box in one of the books on the desk.

I just can't find that gold marble! I know there's one to the side of the wooden drawers, but I can't find where I click to see that. Any advice?

There isn't one to find - only the one that is already part of the wall puzzle.

I did the wall puzzle (with the four boxes with animals and a flower in it), but I didn't get any yellow marble. I went back and did it again to see if I had missed it but it wasn't there.

The marble puzzle at the end has to be the worst ever :(

Sorry, I meant the other wall puzzle. You get a key from the animals and flower puzzle. Did you get the key?

Yes, I got it. Is it something to do with the picture of the different colored flowers? I haven't found what the point of that is yet o.o

There is no yellow/gold marble to find.

Then why in the picture does it show one that you need to finish the game?

It just means that that wall puzzle has already been started for you so you just need to fill in the rest. You should have collected 10 marbles and there are 10 spaces in the wall puzzle.

I cant seem to be able to put the marbles inside the box like the pitcure in the book, and i also cant find a way to make the thing in the top draw work. Can anyone help?

The marbles do not go in the box. You need to poke holes in it with something.

hey. I have a little problem, because I have used the walkthrough, but there is one thing that I don't understand. When I have got the box that beside the couch, and when I should put on the three white marbles on the top of the box it doesn't work! The box just gets a hole, and so when I try to under it, the same happens there! What have I done wrong???

Poke holes in it then put it on the light under the desk.

Just to clarify, when the confusing walk-through says "put the marbles in the box" it should say "USE the marbles to pokes holes in the top and bottom of the box." The marbles never go IN the box and there is NO gold marble. This game was already pretty confusing but the bad choice of words in the walk-through just messed everyone up.

I cant figure out how to get the code on the box from the paper ive rotated the paper in my mind soo many times. wat way do u rotate it from the point it is. left or right wat? please help. thnx

My most recent post tells you that the piece of paper has been ripped out of a book. That book is sitting on the desk. If you match up the piece of paper with the book that it comes from you should be able to figure it out.

how do i put the white marbles on top of the box and green marbles below the box? nothing is happening!

Ignore that part of the walkthrough. Just poke holes in the box with the pencil or the bendy stick thingie.

You are right. The walkthrough is incorrect. The marbles do not go in the box.

Poke the box with a stick instead.

This was probably the best point and click game I have ever played.

The crumpled paper on the side of the desk came from one of the books on the table. Rotate the paper (in your mind) so that it matches the page in the book from which it was torn.

for those who can't figure out how to put the frog in the tulip picture. see in the book on the desk. the picture of the frog and tulips? take note of the colors of the flowers in that book, like if the frog is in between two red tulips, put the frog in between the two red tulips in the picture

it is in one of the books. it is ripped out. you have to look at the ripped edges and the book's ripped edges.

go to the plant. you'll see a little ridge at the bottom right. click on it. then it will go back to the wall again. click around on the wall. you'll find it. the bunny is actually a duck. you have to put the picture with its color. if you do it right, you'll get a key. that's the bathroom door key. open the door, run the glass and toilet paper under the water, put the brown thing in the water, and once the brown thing turns, the water muddy, you put it on the two red flowers. but before you do that, you use the toilet paper to wipe the smudge of the plant's pot. then you'll get 4 numbers. you use them on the little box on the toilet. you'll get a key to the top drawer. open it to get a hint about the puzzle in the wall.

How do you put the piece of the balance on the balance. I put it on, flip it over, everything, but every time I try to put the screws on I just pick the piece up again.

I was doing great until I had to peek. I hate that. I clicked on the couch several times and it never allowed me to look under it. I hate when click areas are not wide enough. I also missed the blue wall panel. Otherwise, I loved this game especially the decor.

nice little puzzler this one.... it doesnt seem like it has anything more than otheer escape games but for some reason i really really enjoyed working this one out.

This is actually one of the better escape games I've done. I really liked it, its not full of bugs. Thanks for the walk thru thou I couldnt have done it without it. I'm going home to make my boyfriend try it =P

I couldn't quite understand why people were being frustrated... but then figured out that some areas are harder to notice than others (mainly the animal puzzle in the hidden part of the wall underneath the potted hanging plant). Plus the fact that it is so close to the bottom of the 'screen' that if you click on it without knowing what it really is, you end up (usually) back to the full view of the room. It was nice that they hid things, but not nice that it was close to the zoom out. As others have said, it's a lot of clicking in random spots.

i cant fill the glass up with water.. im holding the glass under the water and it wont fill up.. someone help please!

Most people will probably just look at the walkthrough if they're stuck, and this game is older than...something that's ten months old...but I'll post some random hints anyway:

Q: I can't find the code for the small box in the drawer. A: It's on a piece of paper. Find the piece of paper. Q: I entered the right code for the box, but it still won't open. A: The paper was torn off of something - find what it was torn off of and you'll find you may have been looking at it wrong. Q: What do I do with the red pencil? A: Ever heard of the invisible ink trick, where you put white ink on a piece of white paper, then color over it with a pencil to reveal it? Q: I found a box. What is it for? A: There are detailed instructions for this elsewhere. Q: I have seven items (not counting the pieces of paper and kitten picture) plus some marbles, and I'm stuck. A: Look for a hidden panel on the wall. Q: I found a place to enter a code, something that has to do with animals, but what's the code? A: Find four pictures of the creatures depicted on the wall, and then figure out what color each one will be. Q: Not another code box! A: A wise man once said "when you can't find the code, try soaking a piece of toilet paper and rubbing it against things." Okay, nobody actually said that, but still, it's good advice. Q: What do I do with the frog? A: Once again, you should be able to find some instructions. Q: How can I figure out what the values of the marbles are? A: Use the scale - which you may have mistaken for a catapult. Q: I'm missing some marbles. A: Look everywhere - they're not in particularily difficult places.

Hey everyone you dont just stick the frog to the picture, you have to out it inbetween the two red flowers right next to each other as indicated in the diagram in the blue book.

First one I've ever done without a walkthrough. I feel like Houdini!

wheres the gold marble?

Hint: try to find out how marbles weigh to each other, then go to the equation board so you dont have to constantly switch back n forth.
