Last chance for CDX

CDX iconAs I mentioned a few weeks ago, the BBC has just 'opened the flood gates' to CDX for a limited time to iron-out and debug issues with its technology that restricts access to UK IP addresses only. Therefore, this may be your last chance to play the game if you live outside the UK.

Update: After much on-again, off-again with the BBC restrictions allowing only UK players to experience this game, the very kind, talented and generous folks at Preloaded are now hosting the game themselves! So, if you are located outside the UK and wish to play this fantastic piece of work, you now may do so. Please visit the CDX review page for the link.

I'm experiencing the game hanging up and crashing when I try to use the laptop in Vol 2- not sure if it's something anyone else is seeing, but it's making the game effectively unplayable.
Sad, I really enjoyed part 1.

I have just completed all 4 episodes of this game (it took me half the day on and off! Some of those internal "games" are very frustrating and you can't move on until completed!) but what a great game....I loved it. Thanks for reminding us to take the opportunity to play before the BBC lock us out again.

Yay, happy to see it again open to non UK residents.... I will hopefully finish this game, this time around :)

This game appears to have been substantially expanded and improved since it was last available outside the UK. (based on replay of episode 1)

or maybe I'm confused? I'm playing part 2?
herm.

how do i get the knife from the hall basement without setting the alarm off? I've tried shutting off the power but it doesnt seem to give me enough time

I just finished the game, pretty good story. Hrmmm. Thanks a lot to the BBC, to finally have it to non UK members....

I wish they kinda expanded the ending a bit :( Hopefully there's a part 5

Dram
To get the dagger:

You have to know the patterns of the guard, that turns the lights back on. No matter how far you get away from the dagger is. The alarm will sound

Getting out:

once you pass that part, you have to know the patterns of the guard again to get to the exit doors (not back to the room where you once started.) I actually got a glitch, where I was being followed and make a sharp turn, got that guard to stop....

Good luck, who are still playing :)

and it's closed again! just when i got my broadband back. bullocks!
