Replay: Mancala Snails
What may be one of the oldest games ever played, Mancala is simple to learn and yet difficult to master. This cute Flash version of the game is played using snails for stones and features both single player and multiplayer modes of play. We've just launched our own IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel, which you can get to by clicking "Chat" in the menu above. That will take you to an open source Java client and automatically log you onto the chat server being hosted at Casual Gameplay. If you prefer to use your own IRC client, then point it to irc.jayisgames.com and join channel #casualgameplay. See ya there! =)
Note: When launching the Java applet by clicking Chat in the menu available on every page of JIG, you will get a dialog requesting that you accept the digitally signed application. This is to allow the application to communicate with our IRC server only. It is signed by Philippe Detournay, the author of the chat client application, PJIRC. While the certificate may have expired, we assure you that launching the chat app is perfectly safe.
The Java client is just the easiest and most convenient way to access our IRC channel, but it's not the best client to use. Here are some recommended clients. Choose one based on your OS:
- Mac OS: X-Chat Aqua
- Linux: X_Chat
- Windows: mIRC

Would love to see people in there more so I can get more suggestions for Anya (a resident bot).
First off I have some tips!
1) When it finally connects please change your nick using the method Anya provides you with. ("/nick NEWNAMEHERE" without quotes)
2) There is a jayisgames.com search function on Anya. Just type in "$jig gamename" or "$jayis gamename" without quotes to try it out. :)

Landon, I'm just curious: what does "Anya" stand for? You know, in Hungarian this is how they spell "Mother", so I wondered if the similarity is more than coincidence... ;-)

hi im really stuck on the second version of virtual villagers(the lost children) i have done all puzzles apart from the one with the treasure,where is it? if anyone could tell me i wud be really grateful as i have been playing it for ages thanks

If you point your irc client to irc.jayisgames.com, you should be able to connect with a temporary server in the meantime.
Jamscone seems to be down for the count (again).

I'm sure you're not alone, though, as only a few have popped in over the last couple of hours.
Still, there are several of us in there at the moment, so perhaps it's a DNS thing. Email me and I'll give you the IP address to connect to instead of the domain.

In case if you haven't tried this in the server window, type /server irc.jayisgames.com if you are unable to connect through the jamscone server.
