Hey jay where did you say I can get past mixed tapes? I really like hip/hop and reggae but I'm starting to like acid jazz. You were saying something about mixed tape volume 4 being your personal favorite, where can I get my musically starved hands on that?

Because I love #4 so much, and because you asked nicely, and because I love to spread good cheer... =)
Here's a link for the first 10 people to download one of the very best (if not THE best) of the series: Click.

Got it! Thanks Jay! I like the last track the best, Cross The Flow, it's moody and down tempo... here's hoping other car companies start producing unsigned artist compilations *looks to Mazda*

Love these tapes jay, they're brilliant. I took you're advice from awhile back on got #4, it really is the best one. 'La Ritournelle' is the highlight for me, although they're all pretty great. #13 ain't bad either, it's quite Acid Jazz-erific.
Ah, 'La Ritournelle' is great indeed. It's the lead track to a compilation I've listened to so much that it seems but a single track to me; one in which the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts. A brilliant mixed tape. One of the very best I've heard anywhere, ever. =)

Not too bad.
I like "Flying Around," "Back You Up," "Right," "West Yorkshire...," a decent amount. "Eulalia" is pretty great, though.

Well now I'm just ridiculously jealous that I didn't get here in time to get Volume 4! :(
I'm going to scour the web for it, any chance of getting a track list from any of you lovely, lovely readers? :D

You may have to enable pop-ups for www.mercedes-benz.com since the mixed tape player opens in a window of its own when clicking the links above.
However, if pop-ups are blocked, that page should detect that and instead redirect you to this page.
I'm not sure why it's not working for you. =/

Yea, it does the same thing to me.
Posted by: sweetie | July 21, 2006 8:11 PM
What does it do? Did you enable pop-ups? What browser are you using?

Same here. When I go there it takes me to the international page, I enabled popups and it didn't do anything. I am using Firefox.

I really have no clue. It works on every computer I have tried it on.
If you type "mercedes-benz.com/mixedtape" in the address portion of your browser, do you still get the same international page?
The only thing I can think of is maybe they are redirecting certain locations of the world(??)
