Dead Can Dance at Radio City

Dead Can DanceAs luck would have it (possibly your luck), I have two extra 2nd row seats (Row BB Seats 509 & 510) to see Dead Can Dance on Saturday, October 8th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard tour so infrequently that this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see them up close and at such a great venue—also a chance to meet me, as I will be sitting in the seat right next to you. =)

First come first served. I don't want to worry about selling them outside the theatre the night of the show.

Update: The tickets have been sold!

My, my, my, you HAVE been a busy bee today! You're quite spoiling us with all these updates.

I'd like to see them, but it WOULD involve flying over the pond...

P.S. First post :p.

lol. Truth is, I wanted to take advantage of the increased exposure today with hopes of finding a home for these extra tickets I have. =)

How much?

I'm very envious of you and whoever gets the tickets. I'd love to go see them live.

aww man... it's in NY...

I just want what I paid for the tickets: $150 USD or best offer for the pair.

Can't buy them yet. Trying to get out of plans. No luck. I'll keep trying!!

Wow. an offer i can't refuse...

oh wait, i live in Texas. Dang it.

have fun though.

Now if those tickets were during the last week in december or the first week in january, i might have taken you up on those tickets. Cuz I'll be in NYC those 2 weeks.

See, this is why it's not so much fun to live in Arizona.

I saw the DCD show at the Hollywood Bowl in LA last weekend, and it was great. Whoever gets these tix is going to have a great time!

You should just sell it on eBay or something...

Of course you're right, Jack, I should just sell them on eBay. Time is running out and I feel I waited too long.

I hope I can find a home for them with a visitor to the blog.

Jay, you still have time. Put them on eBay in a three day auction with a reserve at whatever you're willing to accept. Make sure you include in the description that the buyer will pay for overnight delivery.

If someone decides to buy them off of your blog before the eBay auction closes, just end your auction early. You'll only have lost a few dollars in listing fees.

And if the auction ends without any bids at or above your reserve, you only invested a few extra dollars.

If you'd like a bit of help setting up the eBay auction, I'd be more than happy to help. It's the least I can do for someone who has provided me with countless hours of entertainment.

Thanks, BoxTree. I appreciate the offer, and I have decided to put up a listing on eBay afterall. I have some experience selling there, but it's been a while. If I get stuck, I'll let you know. =)

cheers!

Jay sorry I can't get out of my plans. Was looking forward to seeing the show and meeting you.

Aww... not going to be seeing Jon Stewart, then?

Hi Kendra =)

No, not going to see Jon Stewart, though I wish he was coming on a different weekend. I made these plans for Dead Can Dance back in May, well before Jon decided to visit RIT.

The tickets have just been listed on eBay.

Well NY is bit of a distance from houston.

However, we get to see the dali lama laser show featuring the dali lama himself. I got a VIP pass to the crazy afterparty! woooo. are you ready to rock!?

hmmm, I may want them...

Can someone please buy Jay's tickets so that he can post some more games.

heh. the tickets have already been sold. I have been busy finishing up a midtem project for a client-side programming class I'm taking this quarter. I was up until 3AM finishing it, levaing me with no time to post.

Hopefully I will get a chance to find something worthy of a review soon. =/

Wait a second, Did you say Jon Stewart is coming to RIT? And if so, can you buy me some tickets with your student discount?

Lucky you, I thought they ve split for good...

Would have been nice... To see DCD AND say hello to Jay in person, at the same time! :-)
