Is it just me, or is the safe combination completely illogical?

The safe combination definitely follows solid logic and can be deduced from clues placed throughout the room.

Well the answer for the safe puzzle is right within the game. Just click the hints button and click WHAT IS THE ANSWER TO THE SAFE PUZZLE (or something like that) then Voila... you have yourself an open safe.

Very nice game... The ending was super dumb. It took me about 30 mins... suprisingly not as tough as I thought it was going to be... the hardest thing for me was the safe, and finding the path to the phone lol.

People keep posting the same questions! Just read the answers that have already been given!
Okay, as for my question. I've searched through hints within the game, here in comments, and simply cannot find it. How do you get to other people's safes? In their rooms? Then how do you get in them? If it is within the game hints, I'll feel really stupid ^^;

The other rooms don't open, so there's no way to get into those other safes.

Ooooh! Just got it, nevermind then. You DON'T go into other rooms! The combo sheet is just to show the left, right, left pattern of the hotel safes.
That ending was... odd. Seriously, what's up with the buddah??? And the laughing kids in the background. Kinda creepy.

Finally finished, my only comment is that I've been telling my wife forever that TV is Paradise. This is not news.

Finally made it through, but had to reload game from 56k-bastard.tv site b/c when I opened from jayis it opened with no scroll bars and an unsizeable screen. Therefore, I couldn't access the help, and it was impossible to get past the phone bit since there was no text box to type the account number and password into. Loading from 56k site gave me access to these things.

Other than that frustration, it was pretty fun! I did wish that I could have turned off the tv for some silence!

I got the name of the Hotel room, but every time I give it to Wendy she won't except it!

easier than most! I finished in an hour which is amazing for me! The comment about using "xray" vision helped a lot in getting the code to the safe. I mostly had to go back through to find things that were already there the first time, I just did not notice! Make sure you look at all of the TV channels on the hotel handout and drink the beer!

I can't get the phone to work. I can reach it, I dial 0, a white box appears, I type 53118, y click de checkmark, and nothing happens. Any clues?

Jeremy - you think it's an "h" but it's really a "k". The font that was used for the hotel logo has fooled many players of this game.

Unless you have seen that "art deco" styled font someplace before, it may be quite easy to misread the name.

I'm a big fan of these point & click escape games! This was another nice one allthough hard to navigate at times. Took me a while to figure out that the cabinet left of the bed just doesn't open...

And erm... if I can't get out, how did whoever brought my package get in? One of the mysteries that is yet unanswered I guess...

What seems to be the trouble, Josh? It's been a while since I played, but I'll try to help if I can.

i have most of the things (i fixed the satelite,i have the paper from the cleaners bin,i have the book from the drawer, i have the date log journal,i have the unopened soda bottle i dont have any of the hotel, i have the x ray camera, the remote with no batteries,i have the pamphlet the torn paper,and thats pretty much it.

Hmm, again, it's been a while. But I know that you need to get the suitcase down, and something to open the bottle with. But before you can do those things, you'll need the batteries for the remote.

You can use the batteries from the XRay camera, though you should probably use that first on figuring out the combination for the safe in the closet.

Does that at least get you headed in the right direction?

I am stuck and I havent even started the game yet, I can see I am outside the hotel and am looking up at the window it says its loading and is at 12% but it wont seem to go any further I have tried to refresh and also tried closing the page and starting again to no avail,What can I do??? im scared of point and click games they all scare me. when i click on something im scared that something scary is gonna pop out... especially when they have that eerie color like that.. so jay, can you make an archive and put all the scary horror games in a category like "horror" or "scary games" and put all the other games like in "action" or "not scary point and click"? Hmm....I just got the camera and put the batteries into the remote....I punched in the number and got the Paradise Channel.

1) What do I do next?

Hi, i've read a lot of people complaining about getting 2 the closet, phone, etc.

Go towards the door, but not out. Then move your cursor 2 the right-hand side of the screen, ther will b an arrow. Click.
You will now be facing in that direction and will be able to explore the rest of the room.

By the way, for people having trouble with ordering on the phone: that which appears to be 'h', may not be all that it seems... :p

Nice game. Quite simple in the end tho it was quite annoying at times. The ending was a complete disappointment tho.

I loved ordering the bottle opener using the reverand's account no..hehe..hint - check the bible carefully - there may be some information in there that you can use.

the tokens are in the suitcase and safe, the third one is something that looks like a token but isn't.

Just use your logic - everything that you need is within the room except for the paper in the cleaning trolley which is a combination for the safes in the other rooms, but it gives you an idea of how the safe combination works. Use the x-ray cam to take a pic of the safe. The only other think outside the room is the matchbook which has the hotel name " HOTEL STOCKTON"

What channel on the tv is the techno channel? We've been searching through all o fthe channels. HELP US!

You will find yourself infront of the tv and the window
turn on your right and click the green book
click on the box and you will find a key beside it
click the left arrow 4 times
get the remote on the table
on the lower cabinet of the table you will see the blue book get it
click on the door
turn right and get the pen
click on the fridge
get one bottle
turn right click on the window
turn left
grab the white paper which is like the hotel guide
now turn right
click on the window and turn left
you will see antenna that doesnt seem to hold on to its place, use the pen to hold it, first you have to lift the antenna and the pen will act as a wedge. It is the exact size to hold up the dish
press down arrown twice
turn right twice
grab the Kinon xray 2000
on the bottom left corner of it is a battery, you can take it out and you can use it for your camera or vice versa
turn left again towards the door
use your key to open the door
go left where you can reach the chair and the table
take note of the HOTEL STOCKTON
go right twice headed to the hotel window
turn left down to the exit door
then turn left
notice there's a trash can
get the note with numbers
now go back to your room
you have to find your way towards the cabinet
you will see a dress and behind that is the safe
now the trick is to get the picture of this safe so you can unlock the code
use the Kinon xray 2000
put back the battery
click ON press REC and an icon of Kinon xray 2000 will appear
take a picture of that
review the Kinon xray 2000 by playing ON and PLAY
See how the lock is
two possible combinations that you can use for turning the wheel: (4 left - 1 right - 3 left) or (3 left - 1 right - 4 left). The latter of these possibilities is correct.
grab the TV token from the safe
press the down arrow
press left arrow 4 times
down arrow once
then press right arrow once
get the battery from Kinon xray 2000
get your remote control open the lid and place the battery
you will see the remote on the left side of the screen you can elarge it
since we have fix the antenna you will now have better reception for the tv, the trick is to increase the volume of the tv so it will create a wave so the suitcase will fall off the wardrobe.
use the guide for music using the hotel guide paper channel 326 and increase the volume,
go to the suitcase
turn left 4 times towards the door and right 2 times click on the window and turn right once clikc on suitcase
get the TV token
under the tc click the box and you will see that its like a meter
drop your 2 TV TOKEN
now you would need to have 3 token in order to have it work
press down arrow
turn left 4 times
press down arrow once
turn right once
click on tv
enlarge your remote
turn on SHOPPING Channel 445
you can order the thing to use to open your bottle cap which is the same size as your TV Token
write down no. 53118 to call you have to use 0 before the no. to make an outside call
to order it turn to RELIGION channel 168 (use their bank account so you can place the order)
Bank account no. is 664 663 98
Now you have the no. to call and the bank account to place the order but you have to use the password to verify it
get the Blue Book and open it
you will see a pink sheet get it

I dont know but i dont think this game is suitable for Mac computers... Is looked at all of the spoilers and hints and eveyhint includes click actiont that i cant perform... This sucks.. whay is allmost every game only playable on a pc???!!!

Okay, I get that there is a hint for the safe combination if you use the x-ray camera. But I'm clearly stupid or something.... Can someone explain how, exactly, I am supposed to deduce the combination from the photo?

As with many great games, it's hard to define why it's great.

Certainly on the surface, this game seems to offer nothing different from the traditional escape-the-room fare, but there's just something so elegant about this one, I can't put my finger on it. Certainly it's not very colorful, or flashy, but there's something about the atmosphere that I really like.

It's a very melancholy game, I like the bittersweet aspects of it a lot, and the production values, while not flashy and colorful, are excellent.

You people who are disappointed in the endings of video games, you should know that it's the journey that is the reward.

Besides, what's a developer to do, open up the monitor and spill jelly beans in your lap? Only then you'd be disappointed it wasn't gold pieces. sheesh.

Wow! Gr8 game. Had a lot of trouble but was worth it

is it possible that the combination for the safe is different this year?? i can't seemed to open it even though i have turned it

I think the design of this game really needs to changes to make the game usable and more enjoyable.

While the images are good what was the point of removing the normal mouse cursor with that small circle? If the cursor is going to change to a circle at least make it a colour which isn't used in any part of the game - maybe a red. I kept 'loosing' it on the white sheets and other light backgrounds.

Also the controls to navigate around the room are terrible. Some examples:

• To get around the room from the bed you almost need face the door then walk to the door to turn around to get to the rest of the room. !!??


• To get the camera you cannot be on the bed to pick it up - even though it is right next to you. You need to stand off the bed - while facing the door then turn right take a few steps then turn around to face the bed again to pick it up.

To many frustrating attempts to get around the game made me give up.

Can I have the safe code in like normal numbers please?

I think this game is so old that there is no more help. I can't get the camera either. Not a well designed game. The navigation totally stinks.

Great game, the graphics ar excellent and it's good to be able to leave the room for once, (if only to go to the lobby, but it's good!)

The navigation controls, on the other side, are not very good... you need some time to understand how you need to move to get to the different parts of the rooms. But once you do, the rest flows quite smoothly.

Is there a second part? You know, an island game?
