You find yourself in a room from which you must escape. Sound familiar? Noob's Room is yet another take on the emerging "escape from the room" genre of point-and-click Flash games. This one was created by Kristjan Luts for Gamershood.
Like Escape: The Room before it, Noob's Room features very similar gameplay with slightly different puzzles. The game even shares the pseudo-3D camera panning animation technique with yesterday's game, though to an even greater effect. The soundtrack leaves a lot to be desired however, since the very short loop becomes annoying almost immediately. Turning sound off has no ill consequence.
If you like this type of game, then you will likely enjoy the 10 or 15 minute diversion it offers. It's a decent game, though I am primarily including it here as the other half of a matching set. Do two halves make a whole? You decide. Click.

Too easy, solved in five minuts. But 3D anims are great !
Posted by: NiKo | March 30, 2005 3:33 AM
I found that one a lot easier, took me less than a few minutes. The camera speed in this one makes it feel more fluid. It is very short, which is dissapointing, it can't be hard to make these games longer: just more objects. Also the fact you cant look where the key to the door is from the beginning is rather weird, i was always clicking there to try and go there.
Posted by: Capuchin | March 30, 2005 8:49 AM
This one was way to easy. There are no real puzzles, just keep clicking away.

Posted by: Matt | March 31, 2005 10:56 PM
I imagine it was needed to glue the key pieces together.
Posted by: jay | March 31, 2005 11:13 PM

use the scissors on the yellow thing in the closet to get the last key.
use the 3 found keys on the 3 boxes to get the parts of the 4th key
this is glued together
use glued key on box on top shelf

Posted by: Mel | April 21, 2005 3:35 AM
The scissors can be found somewhere on the desk. I do not tell you where.
Posted by: Terje BrÂten | April 23, 2005 8:17 PM
This was definitely the easiest room to escape from
Posted by: ElleR | June 5, 2005 7:58 PM
Very Very simple. I LOVE it. It's wonderful because my brain doesn't hurt after I've solved it.
Posted by: Kamehameha_cuty | June 10, 2005 2:42 PM
Well...I guess that's why they called it "Noob's room". Cute graphics.
Posted by: Kinestra | June 19, 2005 6:54 PM
it's strange, that you can't look under the table before you read the note...
Posted by: Corruptor | June 23, 2005 9:27 AM

A very good game if you haven't played "stuck-in-the-room"-games before.
Posted by: PlayGuy | November 2, 2005 4:29 AM
where are the scissors!
Posted by: skeladrome | December 14, 2005 4:45 PM
A nice, simple puzzle- though I can't see why the three keys looked the same.
Scissors are hard to find.

FGM
Posted by: Fairygdmther | August 5, 2006 6:34 PM
The game is still around; I just played it. For anyone who might have a problem with the window being too small (like Sean), maybe try pressing F11? At least, that worked for me in Firefox.
Posted by: sephira | August 19, 2006 5:26 PM
Thanks FGM, sephira. I fixed the javascript pop-up for this game, but oye! Beware the multiple pop-ups and ads you'll get from Gamershood! Ugh.

Posted by: dullpunk | June 24, 2007 6:38 AM
For some reason every site i go to won't work for the game... Can anyone recommend a site that would work?
[Edit: Try the links above again, they should work now. The game was moved, which is why you were having trouble. Thanks for the alert. -Jay]

ahh.. thx every comments ^____^ ha ha
i got it !!
first, i found two gold keys and a scissors and then i cant do anything *______*
Posted by: raccoon | September 12, 2007 12:47 AM
I hate these ones that require multiple clicks to do anything. (Or possibly very precise clicks, either way--argh)
Posted by: Liz | December 3, 2007 4:16 PM
this was too easy...but nice game anyway
Posted by: JuSt Me | January 29, 2008 9:35 AM
Meh! There's nothing very clever here - nothing terribly puzzle like. The only challenge is the terribly precise and tiny spots you need to click. Meh I say.
Posted by: sticky | March 1, 2008 9:31 PM
the slowest game I've ever played! Whatever is supposed to be easy becomes hard with constant zooming in and out without my will!! ARGH!
Posted by: jj | March 13, 2008 3:28 PM
I would just like to say that I found it really annoying that to get the scissors you had to click somewhere which doesn't even look like you should need to click there.
