From Italy comes the website Naive.it with beautiful grapics and Flash games that are very similar in look and feel to Ferry Halim's Orisinal games. Naive's latest game is Equilibrium in which you must balance your unicycle on a tightrope using the mouse. Then, while balancing, use the tightrope as a slingshot to jump in the air and catch the orbs that float by. The artwork is beautiful, the soundtrack is soothing, and the gameplay mechanics make this game a lot of fun. Click.

It's one of those games that you just have to use a regular mouse with. Those laptop touch pads or power sticks aren't gonna make it happen in this game. =)

The game is beautiful, but the music gets old pretty fast, and the gameplay is awful: jumping is too risky (b/c something can come from off-screen, and you can't control your jump AFAICT). There's a degenerate strategy: click and hold the bike (but don't release): then you don't need to balance, and can just move the bike up and down to dodge. Which makes the game kinda pointless...
There's a good idea in here somewhere though...

The whole naive.it site seems to be forbidding anyone from accessing anything on the site right now.
Let's see if they clear it up soon. Otherwise I'll remove the game from the recommended list. Thanks for the note. =)

Wow, came back here after a while. I visit the site every day though. The game still doesn't seem to work... A pity because I love this kind of game, just like Ferry Halim's.

I don't see the point in playing...I want to get a high score, but a bunch of ass-hats made it an unattainable nine septillion something by hacking it. Pisses me off. Fun game, though!
